Daft Punk new album out May 17, 2013

It's called Random Access Memories and is being launched at Weekend Vines festival in the small NSW town of Wee Waa.

I'm hoping all the collabs aren't going to take away too much from their music.

I'm not too fond of it either, the end is good when they vocode the voice a lot.

yeah daft punk peaked at discovery i think, home work is still one of my all time fav albums though.
like a lot of bands nowadays i think they are trying to appeal to the pop culture market, which is sad because pharrell has worked with daft punk before under the alias of neptune and did some pretty cool music but it seems he also has fallen into that sheeplike state that so many respected musicians have fallen into b4.... *sigh* (i like your old stuff better than your new stuff.. aha)

It has a lot less energy then their older stuff, more of a casual listen as opposed to their club/remix fuel of earlier albums. In all honesty I'm a little bit disappointed. After the TRON OST I was expecting something EPIC!
