At the moment going 64 bit is just too hard an option for anyone wanting to actually play games and enjoy their PC... way too many driver problems and lack of software support. I wish to fuck MS would have just bitten the bullet and made Vista 64 bit only and released it 12 to 18 months later than they did. The PC market is just fragmented to fuck due to both hardware and software trying to maximize profits. Can't blame them really... business is business but it's really slowing things down. Same for dual and quad core processors... seems they've got a lot more up their sleeve but have held it back. A fully fledged 64 bit OS is the only way forward but I suspect it will drag on for years before 64 bit is the default OS.
In short... stick with your 32 bit Vista. You're not using all your RAM, but any actual benifits of 64 bit are far outweighed by driver issues ATM.
