Lost Hard Drives

Wonder if anybody can help .

I have Three Hard Drives in my comp , one windows is installed on and two other
Hard drives where i store movies , the two additional Hard Drives are no longer showing up .

not sure if my kids have deleted em , anyway to restore them ? my system restore doesnt work btw .

try loading your bios and seeing if they register in your hardware section if not u may have issues with the sata cable and/or power probs. i think it too big a coincidence for them both to disappear!
I WOULD MUCH RATHER PLAY IN A TEAM OF WINNERS THAN IN A WINNING TEAM !

made a mistake been so long since i put it in , it is one drive partitioned .

Changed cords etc , says Hard drive recognized , hitashi ATA Device .

Think it may have died .

I had a few hitachi's die on me. Had some laptop size ones last through some incredible abuse though... I think one of us, booGz maybe is into data recovery, he might have some more info for ya.

Theres no icons in Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

and i cant do a system restore so i may have a virus thats the cause , reformat time .

Yer showed up in bios , and in device manager , but not under ' my computer'

Anything show up under Control Panel>Admin tools>Computer management>Storage>Disk Management

na " Admin tools folder is empty " , no icons at all , was icons in there two days ago , also i have another CD DRIVE (L.) which has appeared and i only have one CD Drive (DvD)
