Law Suit - Stairway to Heaven - Plagiarized ?

The band "Taurus" are suing Led Zepplin claiming that the Stairway to Heaven rif was plagiarized from their song "Spirit" that was written several years before hand.

is the whole story.



It does sound almost identical and also is the main thyme of the song.
What do you think ??

play them both together once the guitar on the Taurus song starts and they almost sync right up :o

Yeah you're right frodo, they were on a tour together and if I remember, Zep were the support band for Spirit and that is where Jimmy heard it. The band name is Spirit, not Taurus. It will be interesting to see what pans out. It is also interesting that Led I II and III have been remastered with bonus material but not IV.

Could be that is all they had time for....

Yes, Stairway to Heaven is a real song, but people will always think Rock is the Devils Work. KISS, Zepplin, all have gotten a bad reap from people who just listen to The Carpenters and Donnie & Marie.
