Had some drama with one of the machine head retaining screws creating a small crack in the neck, she is in bits awaiting more tlc... ill do a recording when fixed.

Blackbird was the 1st song I learned from tab.
I dabbled in tab & sheet but never bothered really learning to read music for guitar... has always been more of a listen, pickup & play by ear thing for me...

I learned how to play guitar when i was 35... never thought i could but it came soon enough with three different mates teaching me riffs and chord combos. Anyone know Signe by Eric Clapton from his Unplugged album? It was one of the first tab tunes i learned. Bloody tough but a rockin lil combo. How do i post the video here instead of the link? still havent figured it out. (thanks for the tip tooms)

OMG toombsy this is over my head , just picked up a guitar the other day , got a mate to tune it last night , saw a youtube vid for very new beginners , so now i know what E- is omfg , help me lol :help:

Dont know what a tab is , oh sh#5t this is gonna be painfull i can tell lol ....

yeah dv8 at first it seems like a hell of a task to learn but once you get to know a few chords it gets easier!
you'd be amazed at how many songs you basically only a couple of chords and then just modifies the chord slightly by changing one or two fingers!

here is a great example.





he does play with a complex strumming and picking pattern but it does sound just as good by strumming and what a great song!!! :D
