'Tanit'

Ive finally finished another little project, making a guitar from an old smashed one.

Her name is 'Tanit' - The Ancient Phoenician Dragon Lady.

That is an aluminum nursery light shade used as the sound chamber.

Slim profile cut out back.
The upper enclosed section is a timber sound chamber connected to the aluminum sound chamber.

Fish Tail strings ties & 1 piece braided Dragon Hide Tail.
Isnt it such a cute little tail ?

Yin - Yang Dragon Head Twins, with inlaid Dragon Tooth Horns & Emerald Eye.

Every brace & every seem required removal, retrofitting / remaking, remodeling, reinforcing & replacing back in.

Was about 200 hours of work & fun.
Her sound is absolutely awesome.... best way to describe the sound would be something like.... a banjo inside a wooden box, it has that definite 'metal' sound but is very mellow with a timber resonance.
