Hey dudes
This is a long shot but i was just wondering if we have any linux users here?
I recently started getting into ubuntu a couple months ago, it seems to be a pretty cool os.
I'm trying to install it on my laptop however it's not liking the native windows file system when trying to look for a partition to install it on.
Does anyone know what the native file system is for any linux distro to be installed onto using one hard drive only.
I'm not even sure whether you can have 2 different os's on the one hard drive with 2 different file systems even if used in a separate partition scenario ?
If anyone body knows the noob answer to my issue i'm facing that would be great!
Cheers
Ubuntu ?

P: Dual athlon 7550.
Does alright - but not using the onboard vid card though.
Hardy: cool Might have to do that.
I got an ubuntu installation thats running on an antique AMD sempron if not older (single core machine anyways) - that machine was able to run Q4 - so it might pass muster for playing QL, if I can ever find another AGP card for it. The other, I would expect to bomb - fedora 15 (flakey as hell, man - well nautilus is anyway), running via VMware.

I run Ubuntu 11.10 amd64 (amongst other OSes).
QL works better for me under Linux than Windows (which is strange). QL in Win halts my computer after a random amount of time
I used to get better video performance on an older version of Ubuntu (10.04) though. This new version sucks!
Open Source ATI driver is fine, but if you have problems, try the proprietary ATI driver.
I also started using Mangler tonite, a Linux Ventrilo client. Seems fine.
