Resolution Issues!

Hi guys,

Just installed a new monitor and having massive resolution issues..

I'm running resolution at 1900x yet the text and images on my HUD and screen are seriously huge, like its running in 640x480 style... check the screenshots attached... the console text is absolutely massive like 640x480 where normally it wouldnt be like this.

I've tried playing around with resolution but to no avail.. any suggestions???

do you have the correct r_mode setting for new monitor?
eg. "/r_mode 23" for 1920x1080. then do "/vid_restart"

Just looked at your screenshots, it all looks normal

your trying to run 1920x1080/1920x1200 resolution on quake? are you insane?

Running at 1920x I still get 125FPS, even with the graphics all to the max... not that I have all the graphics to the max as you can see from above... but it is beautiful when you're running around in a highly textured world :)

yes...i run widescreen resolution too and it was a hassle to get it working...

I had to use config stuff....let me see if i can find the code

[edit] this is the type of thing I used - but I'm sure I did it in the actual config file. I will have to go into it (it's on my other PC and I won't get it right now) and grab it for you..
