Heyas...
I have about 2gb of various different file types that I desire be all converted to simple txt files.
The files are old stories, rhymes, poems, books & novels.
I would say they are 99.95% text with only some 'recent' stuff containing jpg's or clipart.
Files were created in DOS Word Perfect = .wpd / Word Perfect 5, 5.1 & 6.1 = .wpf or .wpd / Corel Word Perfect 1, 3 & 4 = .cwp / MS Publisher V's '95, '97 & 2000 = .pub / Corel Draw 6, 7 & 8 = .cdr
Yeah yeah... I know, there has gotta be some tool to do the lot, to be honest Ive got shit loads on my 'tech head' plate & my net is fkd so d/l a shitload of prog's I dont have & dont have time / interest to learn is not an option.
... just wondering if this is up anyone's ally before I outsource it off to Bangladesh ?

You might run it through a data recovery program as raw data -- it might spit them out as text files, but I wouldn't guarantee it.
I do have some tools, and a server that you could post an archive to, if'n you wanted. (I am a data recovery analyst with some digital-forensics training -- so I might be able to have a bash at it)
