all this overclocking is probly not really that neccesary these days if u got a decent setup but it does help for gaming and other cpu intensive stuff .

New nvidia video cards!
GTX980 $750-850 GTX970 $499-549. looking very good! more affordable than current versions 9GTX780 and GTX780TiGhz0 !
more speed , way less power for reference designs and way cooler and quieter. whats not too like. by xmas the prices will have dropped a bit after their initial introduction. geez hope our $ doesnt keep falling!
i might have to switch to team green this time! Dual is still cool!

new intel skylake cpu's are coming out soon they may well turn out to be good , but they seem only a minor upgrade in cpu perfprmance. we will have to wait and see! of course i am referring to the k versions which are unlocked and can be overclocked.
AMD cpus/apus are reportedly 40% faster than current gen hopefully they will give intel a bit of a run .
got myself a couple of new gigabyte g1 GTX970s last october. they are really good but i would have to say that SLI support is average at best ! i have read stuff of late which seem to suggest Xfire is a little better but they still have issues and it still comes down to the game you want to play.
anybody upgraded lately. with the aussie dollar down to around 80c US, pc parts $
are rather high at the moment!

upgraded to new vid cards late 2014 gtx970 x 2 in SLI swapped in 2 x 8GB GSKILL pc1600ram !
