for the pass 4-5 days ive been getting a solid 200 - 30 ping can anyone tell me what this is ??

on a serious note...............
I been having stable 60 ping but it feels like 200 , brings back dial up memories and i have nfi why

I don't think capping affects your ping too much.

it does if your cap drops back to 56k !
makes a huge difference

No mate, I have left the connection going at the old place till the last moment. Actually that turns out to have been a mistake, I just got off the phone from getting them to swap the account to the new house and it looks like it may not happen till the 28th leaving me with no net for 2 weeks.

Yes,I agree with you.
When i had a ping issue,My service provider suggested to reduce the length of my cable.
After that my ping is reduced than before.Finally i checked my new ping using Whoisxy.com I got good results.
