diff between 320mb and 640mb is abilty toplay higher res!

4 sum games with max eye candy on card runs out of onboard memory causing slow downs!

they say that if u dont run over 1280x1024 res u will never notice!

shit yeah ! blow the doors off ya 6600GT !

the biggest strength of the x1950 pro is that it has a beast of a shader engine for a low/mid card! so basically n e thing modern supporting shader technology will play good! [up to a point obviuosly]
eg against a gf6800ultra and 7800gs [which r both way better than 6600gt] it blows the doors of them in most games! 1280x1024 with all eye candy on seems to be the best compromise 4 most games!

BF2142 kills em , Oblivion kills em all , Call of Duty 2 same , Company of Heroes etc, Farcry HDR, Pacific Fighters [opengl] same,Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, infact the only one where it is on par or a little behind is Quake4. but i am pretty sure that ther are later drivers to fix that up ! they used catalyst 6.12 in test [getting old now] i had a look and yes later drivers seem to fix it up!

agp vz pci-e - ther seems to be a slight performance hit on agp but it is only very minor .

in fact i am going to squeeze one into my shitter putey [without the big chief knowing of course] ;) shhhh

Yeah, you need 60fps to really power level and gold farm properly ;)
