Google is your friend!
Try this one toga:
- Go to My Computer and select Properties.
- Select Advanced from the tabs at the top
- Select the Performance Settings button.
- In the Virtual Memory settings, select Custom Size, and set both initial size and maximum size to 500MB or less.
You'll probly need to restart afterwards.
Seems to be a bug with old versions of director which werent made for XP/2000
