this is now 4 u non overclocking newbies !
dont get the Gigabyte 965p-ds3, get the 965p-ds3P. make sure it is a "P" version cos the box looks almost identicle. it is around the same price and has onbaord raid, ATi xfire [dodgy version but it still works ie 16x + 16x slot at 4x] and also firewire, and EVEN BETTER it has pretty much all the ds3 problems fixed ! hello - did u get that last bit !
in a little while [sometime very soon] intel will release a newer version of the E6300 and E6400 and they will both have 4mb of L2 cache ! they will be named E6320 and E6420. i would suspect they will be slightly dearer but well worth it! the extra 2mb of L2 cache. it certainly improves performnace ! a little for some things and a lot for others. ie like 3% or up to 25%.
that gf8800gts i would presume it is the 340mb version. its very cheap but !
