Perhaps they will relent and release DX10 for XP if not enough people buy Vista or those games.

Hmmm....from what I've read Bioshock will have DX10 support, but not require it or Vista. Alan Wake is rumoured to be Vista only though :(

i was reading that HALO 2 Vista does not require dx10 but it does require vista for the online stuff and also windows live etc etc.

Not at all Leone, all I was doing was continuing the debate about Vista showing that those highly anticipated AV's weren't meeting the standard and my stance on Vista unfortunately is switching ever closer to the negative. But anyway hopefully if or when the day comes that I need to upgrade to Vista it won't be as bad as it is now.
