What version do you have at the moment? Windows 10's pretty good and you can still upgrade for free

I did the above (from 8.1) and haven't looked back.

Ive got a "free" version of 7, with cracks... if you can put up with the 'not registered' nag screens.

there's 'tools' you can download to deal with that stuff. I'm still running my other PC on a cracked Windows 7, no msgs, no issues
