ok I get it, posting in the spam section reduces your postcount by 1. Just to see if I got the post back I deleted a post and lost another off my postcount. I don't really care either way but thought if this was a bug you might want to know.

edit: also I'm sure you noticed but the board is not rendering html special characters properly in some places (e.g. you're getting ;&gt instead of >)

I just had a look. i think it was because we just moved the database :P


Yeah i just noticed the html spec chars

I've had a few of my posts disappear. I replied to the comment thread in the tech section and it's gone, and my post count has gone down by 4 since last night. WTF is going on?

um.

Btw the shoutbox counts as posts. And since only 100 shouts are stored could be the reason for the postcount. With the posts... WTF? ill look into it. can you remember what was in the posts and what thread?

Until blink or myself trace the fault, i'll just keep track of the old sql server for posts and move them here.

btw, want to catch up for a few beers at olims sometime?

edit: so far its only your posts... if anyone else has this issue let us know. It could just be a cache issue. If it persists ill remove the tables from the old sql server and see how it reacts.
