That is sad but I understand your frustration mate. I for one think your comp was awesome and a great thing to do for the community. You have my unabridged thanks no matter what.
That's a little mellow dramatic mate. From what I've seen your tournaments have always generated a lot of interest. 13 teams this year compared to I think 9 last year.
People want to play for fun, with a chance to win and get some bragging rights along the way. They don't want to play, and then spend 15 minutes uploading both demos and screenshots and then sending them to you. It turns playing a comp in to a chore.
Like someone suggested earlier. If another team reckons someone is warpy or cheating, (within good reason*) they should have to upload their demos. And team captains should upload screenshots.
*Obviously a player that cries warp or cheat every week would get ignored for the cry wolf rule.

Some have, many havent, that is the least that is asked of players/team captains. Ok making demos is a chore. As Mick advised, he said let it go, he had to, as no one complied. Or very few. But to spend five mins uploading a screenshot, is that too much to ask?
Seems like it.
Gubben wrote:Strange thing is, this is the 4th AiM comp (including the one iFT comp we ran last year) and the issue of warping has only arisen in this comp. What has changed?
It's always been a problem. Pathe and Roschach were almost unhittable in last comp. We just assumed they were allowed to do that and played on.

I thought the rule was no demos for all members = forfeit?
VISA took this seriously, except our last game when we were beaten I think no demos were sent? That said, we were ready to upload if needed..
