AiM iCTF Ladder REGISTRATION now open

The enthusiasm generated around the A.i.M. iCTF Tournaments has inspired the formation of the A.i.M. iCTF Ladder. This Ladder will provide a framework for regular scrims between clans over an extended period, allowing clans to challenge higher ranked teams and strengthen the Insta QL community through competitive play.
The Ladder will be active starting 8th October 2012 and will run for six months until the 8th April 2013. A prize pool will be developed along the way but this is a work in progress and will be expanded upon in the fullness of time ☺. Prizes wont only be awarded to the winning clan but also to players for fastest cap, highest gaunt count on a map and some other fun categories. (open to suggestions)
The Ladder will proceed via a system of challenges. Any clan can challenge a clan (up to two rungs above them) on the ladder. Higher ranked clans cannot challenge lower ranked clans. If the lower-placed clan wins the match, then the two clans swap places on the ladder. If the lower-placed clan loses, then they may not challenge the same clan again without challenging another first. The more skilled clans will start at the bottom of the ladder, so that they have to play to work their way up to their rightful positions.
There aren't any regular play dates. Rather, the Ladder is posted for all to see, and clans must take it upon themselves to issue challenges and set up times to play matches. Challenge rules prohibit the challenged clan from declining to play; if you are challenged by a lower-ranked clan, you have to accept and the time limit to schedule the match is within 8 days.
