can we discuss the days of the comp? is it too late? if not, what's the overall opinions?

reasons for no sunday:
- max AU pipeline traffic cause network probs
- sun night means cannot enjoy playing and chat into the night if working on Monday (like most employ33s)
- sun night is usually chill night before the week ahead...not amp up night cause have to take and send demo after demo of ppl like mantis, aeol, siilva, rolz, bomba...let's just say over 50% of players. AND play as well?
- hardy has to do his weekly report to the vaticans on sunday night and we don't want to get on HIS bad side...
- won't go on

solution: umm...fri night is also max pipeline time...sat is best but i usually have red carpet event or some other A-List borrrring party to go to...

I'm +1 for Friday...Sat ok but sheesh...and no to any day of the week

M8... you could have predicted a fairly even choice of days.... ppls have different life schedules....

Like all comps, the comp organizer sets a date/s and it is the teams & members that have to fit that schedule... or simply not put their hands up to play.... Dont get me wrong, im sure Gubbs would love to find a day that suits 100% of the players... reality dictates that usually wont / cant happen.

IMO one of the early thoughts & goals from Gubbs re: AiM comps was to get a mass of teams competing in a more condensed time frame for the comp... sort of like 2, 3 or 4 night events to complete the comp ...
Sunday night was the final choice for AiM 1

simple solution: teams work out when they want to play during the week. if they are unable to play, and have not rescheduled during the week, they must play on sunday. the team who turns up on sunday gets forfeit win in case of other team not showing up, unless other team can show they rescheduled, or attempted to reschedule.

dunno why we want to force one day. shit happens, not every sunday is the same, coz sunday is the day when EVERY social function is organised pretty much :-/ at least for me anyway.
