yeah, re: timing - i've never been too happy with timing for ictf comps ;o

why not try a new format this time? sorta like the one 4sg uses. one game a week, time of the game to be decided by teams, but to be played, at the latest, 8pm or so.

doubt there'd be enough interest to cast interesting games, but could certainly record and upload to youtube.

Sundays I leave to do sweet FA so any time's good. The only thing I worry about is people taking forever and a day to setup a game. The format worked fine last time.

re timing, there are players in NZ so to leave it for 8pm starts to get too late for those working monday. Im sure you can eat earlier, or after. I think its more of a fun event when everyone gathers and plays their matches en masse as oppposed to playing random matches during the week or whenever. There is definitely a buzz around the servers when the time is set and the people gather to play.

Also, re screenshots and demos. First comp teams were diligent and DID upload screenshots and demos. Last comp people were NOT diligent and hardly uploaded... #3 Rule 1 is you MUST upload screenshots and demos
