Quake Live On a Mac

Anyone running QL on a Mac? if so how did you get rid of mouse accel?

ive been playing ql on my macbook pro for a couple years now... but i dont recall having to do anything about mouse accel? what does that do?

Well it wes the in_mouse setting in windows, but it doesnt work on a mac, basicallly it stops the mouse from accel when you move it fast.

HOW DO U EVEN STAND PLAYING QL ON A MAC >.<
Aim, movement and control have to work together for each of them alone to work for you. You may know timings but if you can't aim to fend someone off or move quick enough to get there what use is it to time then, don't favour one over the other 2. -Profanum

no i meant playing quake on a mac is so terrible though >>.< so many crashes lol

Sorry Buster, cant remember having to adjust anything re mouse accel... will try and have a look when i load up QL again... the only time it crashes is when i try to leave a server, no thats not true, the browser crashes frequently too, but its the leaving servers which shits me the most as i have to restart QL and re login in etc... a hassle if someone says, lets play on another server, which is why once i join a server i tend to stay there till browser crashes or i have had enough...

lucky you, how do you quit a server, does it crash at all? it does for me with firefox, Explorer and Safari...

buster, you might want to take a look at the m_cpi settings...
I WOULD MUCH RATHER PLAY IN A TEAM OF WINNERS THAN IN A WINNING TEAM !

Your baseq3 directory should be located here

Macintosh HD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/QuakeLive/quakelive/home/baseq3/.

damn Buster, mine crashes EVERY time i quit game

Sometimes ingame, when i am cranking and moving mouse fast and jamming the keyboard, it suddenly spits me out of game, browser crashing...

Ive re loaded QL but no change and spoken to ID support and they say its a mac thing that aint addressed yet...
