4Seasons Gaming is proud to announce the first Official Quake Live LAN competition (technically the first real one) to be held in the Oceanic region. This of course will be at Reloaded 2011, July 15-17. Many thanks to iD Software for making this happen, and hopefully we will continue to build from this amazing opportunity. Partnering for the event will be Tt eSPORTS Australia and Game Traders, and as always, 4seasons Gaming will be running two fully prize equipped duel competitions. With an attendance already confirmed from the majority of the best Australian Quake Duelers, teams such as Vox Eminor and ArchaicMSI will also be flying players down for the event. The Pro's section of the competition will be the highlight for Reloaded 2011, and will become the greatest 4sg produced competition to date. 10 Custom built PC's provided by Tt eSPORTS Australia will be provided for the Professional players travelling interstate, and setup in the Tt eSPORTS Arena. The Amateur competition will be BYOC only. Prizes are as followed

1st. $2000 AUD
2nd. $1000 AUD
3rd. $500 AUD
4-8. Choice of (first picks in order of final placings)

Quake Live 1v1 Am
1st: 1x Challenger PRO, 1x Dasher
2nd: 1x Shock
3rd: 1x Dominator

A signup list will be taken before the event on the 4Seasons Gaming website, for the PRO competition only, , and of the 16 invited players who will be selected for the Pro's competition, 10 PC's will be available for players who will be travelling interstate. AM signups will be conducted on the day via the intranet.

As this will be the first official Australian Quake Live LAN event, huge thanks go out to iD Software for donating the server. Everybody will be able to play from your own computers if you already have Quake Live installed, otherwise files and plugins will be available to download on the day via the FTP.

Format 1v1 Pro ()
Starts July 16th (Saturday) @ 10 AM local
4x4 Seeded Groups top 2 proceed
Players will either toss a coin or pummel to decide who bans first/second (winner decides)
Double Elimination Finals (bo3)
Upper bracket winner secures a map in hand for GF (bo5)

Please if you are looking to play in the Pro's and need to book a stage computer there is only 10 available and some have already been booked so you must get in fast. E-mail jobs@4seasonsgaming.com to place your booking.

The AM competition will be double elimination, best of 1 map.
The Map pool will be campgrounds, bloodrun and aerowalk.
