HI Guys ,
I contacted TOMTEC today the same ppl that run purgery , basically to hire a server
and name it PIT . ( If thats ok )
I'd pay for the sydney server and it will take some numbers from the Purgery server .
Can name it pit , can even have it password protected { at times } if we want our own games .
What do you's think , i think it'd be a great way to expand the game a bit and have a PIT Server back ?
Custom maps , padman etc , iCTF . without so much Div 1 players in .

I can name it anything i like , point is it would be good for PIT to have a dedicated server and get US back playing together again for fun .
Without Div 1 players , dictating Gametype CTF/Future Crossings etc . More ICTF , IFT some FFA PADMAN MAPS , Could even (Unforce KEEL model ) Bring back Runes , Prox mines Xeterar
Its only $15 per month if PIT dont want me doing it
Someone else do it ...At Least there would be TWO servers with ppl in it and maybe keep QL going without one server chockers .
Not that im against Div 1 players , but they are Div 1 CTF players on picmip 8 (cant compete) and any other gametype will apparently empty the server , so same issue stands CTF / Future Crossings / Spider Crossings / Jap Castles . rerun the same 4 maps on a rotation all night .
Just a Thought , to keep the Game going for ALL not just the DIV 1 takeover of Purg Server . In Saying that , no use paying for a server if no ones going to use it , if ppl want the Status Quo , say so
But this could be a chance ( better than standalone ) to Revive the Game for PIT .
Only maps that can be included is in Quakelive/Steam workshop , not all Q3A maps have been recoded .
But there is some huge city and v nice neighborhood map in their .

I think when the Admins get back on they'll decide on the Idea .
There is one server packed the others are empty , but it's be good to see a server named =PIT= up again , i think the last time PIT had a dedicated server was Stumpy running it from his home , way back in Q3A days , with the options and new maps now available , Padmaps etc .
I Know ppl like frodo , kanon , Bomba would all be keen to get some =PIT= flavored games going again (FOR FUN) rather than DIV 1 maps .
Leave it in the Admins hands , it will take 3-5 days to show up in server list . Personally i think its a great idea we could run our own comps , etc etc .
