I have also seen blue skin on a fellow that was the result of consuming to much Colloidal Silver.

I know I applied it to burns on my cats feet (disappeared for 5 days and came back dehydrated and with burns on his feet :( ) and my brother had silverchain nurses apply it to his pilonidal sinus's (yummy)

I know mum (Former Vet Tech) said the cat could lick the CS off with no adverse effects... larger amounts I'm not sure about.
