Toga you can lock it , but this has a definate title on it , not a hijack , so all thoughts accepted imo , that i think is the difference , you did say instead of hijacking open your "own" thread if you find it offensive or troublesome toga i accept your opinion and moderation , you can either say open your own thread or put up a sticky setting "clear" boundries regarding threads imo ...

The hijack comment was a joke cause i know all perspectives will be introduced , which i dont mind in a thread with a title as such ..I do find it unacceptable in a Daniel Morcombe thread however , and when hardy hijacked , google , tesla etc , think that is the difference ...

Hardy's welcome to comment here , i did mention God spoiler in the title so ppl knew what they were getting into , as long as it doesnt resort to personal attacks its fine , if it does "i will leave " it if it gets to that , i think information is good depends on the execution imo ...

Dv8, I have no prob's with your OP at all.
You & anyone can open a thread about anything you wish... as previously encouraged by me to do so instead of hijacking threads.

I am also just acknowledging, as you said, "I can sense a hijack".
The fact that you made that statement, presumes you expect some/more/heaps of left field/off topic replies... as does the topic itself.

Mate, I really do not have a "Moderate Dv8 differently" attitude.

How ever, I feel the need to publicly say that on several occasions now, several clan members have made statements to the effect of - "If shit doesnt stop - I will leave ".

I personally find this statement & attitude close to offensive.
There are forum systems in place to be used for cases of dispute, abuse & attacks.
For anyone to wager / threaten / toss out their PiT Clan membership instead of using the system is beyond me.
It does tarnish my compulsion to support any clan member under such circumstances. It does not change my views on how to moderate.

If people want out, just say so... my personal thoughts, respect & emotion for any individual will remain unchanged and I shall immediately fulfill their request.

So please Dv8, do not use that phrase again unless that is your desire.

Come this time next week, PiT Forums will have 2 additional new moderators.
They will be directed to the and will be instructed to follow and enforce it.
The level of moderator intervention will continue to be determined by how our forum members continue to conduct them selves.

Until then, sorry folks... only my finger is on the button & I will continue to use it as I see fit and fair.
