so this is on sale at Origin for PC: $80 and $100 for the gold edition

what a shame, Origin and Steam...before we know it there will be another 3 or 4 of these restricting platforms and what to logon to play what will be the question then...

anyway, has anyone got this yet? i'm keen as...

they have a low-spec PC version - 48Gb!!

I know what you mean Sifz .. I recall years ago (mid-to-late 90s and beyond) there was a period of awesome games around all at the same time. I was actively playing (trying to anyway) Quake of various forms, Halflife of various forms, Unreal Tournament, Tribes, Everquest, Diablo 2.

Thank god I didn't have a job to lose back then lol
