Are the reason's =PiT= Baldrick created his original site, Baldrick's Hovel then soon came The PiT.
Any and All thanks for The PiT, go to =PiT= Baldrick & every =PiT= Clan Leader / Admin / Mod / CTF Team & Clan Member, past & present... Not to mentions the mass's that contributed & were =PiT= forum regulars though not =PiT= Clan members.

With out upsetting the momentum of the rolling ball, and its still early days - lets ensure it continues to gain momentum but keep it on a good path of balance / fun / fairness / simple / big picture...
1) For ANY Comp to happen to its final successfully -
This answer is time proven - each player must at least be able to personally put their hand up in the same place at the same time ... hence my suggesting here @ PiT ...... *server chat* yeh ill play next week = *reality* Team "xyz" forfeits not enough players.
2) Teams - Numbers & Sizes
See 1) ...... only then can Team Size and numbers be finalized, there are good reasons for 4 or 5 per team and also for more.
3) Maps -
History has also shown that it is best for the organizer/s to simply choose 5 maps (for best of 3 map knockout) of the total spectrum available including space maps - then the captain of each team to throw 1 map out leaving 3 maps to play. Game time 1 teams chooses 1st map, other chooses 2 map, 3rd map is decider if needed.
4) Over View Fine Details (which always come up at some point..) -
Match Days / Times / Game Report (screenie) / Match Rules .....
Keep putting your thoughts / preferences out here but lets keep the final details to a specific comp thread at the time.
5) Servers -
Any "QL Pro Subscriber" can start a new server & invite 10 players..... / Gubb's is making enquiries (perhaps QL will simply make more on demand ) .... can perhaps make due with what is.. server names are not important as fun as they are.
6) Gubben's other thoughts- HDQuaklive will organise a shoutcast / prize's
If it happens fantastic bonus ! ... if it does not, no biggie - were all here for fun & we can easy record demo's ingame.
