Did some digging. The name, symbols and colors were voted separately, in that order

Symbols were declared on 28/11/2002 with the colors sometime between then and 17/12/2002 as per confirmation from Cpt. Lycra himself below:

If I won lotto I'd totally do it. PiT Tracksuits (Lycra edition for Bomba) Rent a place out and fly anyone interested out. Would even get SyncError to make our own PiTLAN event.

Lol , yer everytime i by a lotto , i thought if i,d won , Just get a assistant to manage it as an event , =PIT= members and partners , special invites to non clan members , like sifz mybe ,
Security for the curious locals, live music , lan room with comps on big screen , =PIT= logo raffle various prizes , quiet lounge to catchup with the members , decked out in Quake decor full size doom models guarding the entrance , or maybe security dressed as doom models ? or mini midget Quake costumed cage fights lol...
