Gold rush alaska series is fantastic , Gold rush season 5 just hitting torrents now , awesome show imo learnt alot about gold , but seen just how damn hard it is to eek out a living , although "dakota fred"boss of one of the crews might be on the money, he's following an ancient water full down to what he believes is a jackpot . Glory hole he calls it , its gone from sluicing tiny flakes to now nuggets the deeper he go,s , but has me glued ....

your a rock man did u see the story on the news about trees around karatha etc , being detected with gold in the leaves , bark etc , taken up into the tree via the root system , they intend using the info to dig for gold instead of drilling , interesting find imo

Heading was something like money does grow on trees ...

yer its the lifestyle thats kept me happy ,though it is really exciting when you do find some , its the lifestyle when you don't find much , which is most of the time
