Hey guys,

Your mother and I (kami and I) have had a talk and we've decided we don't feel like paying for hosting the site any more.

So I'm throwing out a request for anyone if they're willing to take over the domain and website hosting?

I have another option up my sleeve if no-one puts their hand up, which is to host everything on 4seasonsgaming.com, which is another website I admin. The only downside is that everyone will lose access to their personal folders... I think only spud and scummy are using them right now, so it might not be so bad.

It would suck to lose my site but I don't want no free ride. Happy to chip in some $ if that's the only concern. Will there be the option for personal web space on the new host? Again, happy to chuck in to cover costs.

what if a few others put in regularly to share the cost . ie me + others = less cost for you 2 .

i have no idea how much it costs but if u give us an idea then maybe we could work something out .

Well I think it would be kind of a pain logistically to manage all the incoming money. So for me it would be better if I could just handball the entire thing over to someone. I can provide the login details for the host, and whoever wants to take over can just enter their credit card details.

The cost at the moment is about AU$17/month, so it's a couple of meals worth

Spud, I'm not 100% sure on the terms and conditions we have for hosting on 4SG, so I can't guarantee anything as far as the personal web space yet... but I'll have a look when I get back from work.

could you set up a paypal account and the host can just get paid via that? I know you can set up subscription type things because I pay for Last.FM subscription that gets charged to paypal automatically every month. Happy to drop a tenner each month to keep this place alive.

Actually I just had a look at the settings we have on 4sg and it seems like we should be able to do everything we use right now... for free... and hosted in australia... fkn win?

I do not believe it is possible for greater win. Would we be able to keep the same domains? I cringe at the amount of shit I would have to change if URLs were different.
