I think people need to take quake live (which is just a video game) a little less serious and they will find they have much more fun lol
Who gives a flying fuck if you win or loose, it means nothing in the real world
I dont ever think, oh he is a wanker because he sucks at a video game ! geez he is prolly a great guy in real life
But i do think of a person as a wanker when they cry every time they loose or abuse people that arnt at there skill level................. ITS A VIDEO GAME !
People always say im shit and i just laugh and say 'yer i know', because it means nothing in the real world and some person that i have never met , that is hiding behind a keyboard saying stuff about me tells me who is really the sk
And most people that are a part of this community (PiT members) feel the same
Maybe its because most of us are old cunts and we realise that raging at a game or the people that play it is a waste of time

if this was a video arcade game and we had 16 people turn up to play an 8 v8 face 2 face as we did last night, I guarantee you it would get serious real quick LOL ... as it always does at lans

try telling all the Legions of gamers Who play BF3 ... its just a video Game, or all the WOW heads, its Just a Video game!
I'm sure they would tell you,"its not just a video game!"

When we are here in the World Of quake, its not just a Video Game its QUAKEWORLD!

And i feel a great deal of social interaction with people even though we are only represented for a brief moment by some AVATAR On screen, and running about with virtual guns, to capture a token of power, ie the flag, and then take that token back to our Base to say,
boo yaa, in your face! haha!

Hmm If you think about it, if we Were all blue giant creatures from PANDORA and we had a big tree in the Center of the MAP you could call this game AVATAR

I remember winning some competition it was a 4v4 freeze comp at a Lan, people picked at random put into teams, something like 8 teams, and My team still won much to the disappointment of the people haha!
We won through teamwork, and determination.
But what did win?
Did we do it for the Gold or the Million dollar pay check? Nope!
We did it for the fun of it.
Win or lose this games still fun.
but I do only lose 25% of the time!

On the real I don't think Ur a bad lad we had a good chat a bit back seemed down to earth n decent enough I admire a competitive spirit as much as the next gamer but bruv in pub matches I think its a bit much to tongue lash people as u do ... And srsly the stats not mattering to u comment.... U know that's lies, several times I've seen u drop from a losing team b4 the final cap, or sit out untill the eams weigh to Ur liking.... Imo take the good with the bad wins with the losses don't be contradictive mate its obvious.some of jwhat Ur saying is rubbish and u know it.....

I respect u on Ur ability no doubt there, but chill move on forget the drama save the rage.for.comps keep it out of pub servers

Rukuss you would not actually believe how many games I play that don't even come up on the points total,
I play 7 games and 2 Show up?
I mean wtf ... 6 wins 1 loss and it only records 1 win and 1 loss!

So yes the Stats are bullshit they should be way Above what they are, so to say i drop from a game that's not going my way is irrelevant considering how many games i play that don't even get totaled!

If its a fair win I'll take the hit, we had a good game tied at 4 all going and we lost 5-4. that was fair enough!
there are a ton of games that are mediocre though! both when ya win and when ya lose!

Its worse for CA stats i was up at 1500 and got 100 points wiped off playing on teams that lost to lesser teams!
that crap really pisses ya off!
