Teaser: Pharoah vs The Egyptians

hi people, for those that remember, i went to Egypt a little over a year ago to shoot a doco with Akmal Saleh, the stand up comic, and the film, Pharoah vs The Egyptians, has been selected to screen at the Byron Bay International Film Festival. It is playing this sunday night at 7pm at the main theatre if anyone is in the area and wants to check it out. I'll be sitting in on a Q&A with Akmal after the screening. Here is a little teaser:

watching it reminds me of the war that broke out when Akenahton declared the multifarious God system to be a fraud and the single God system to be the way...

dont know about him Sifz, will check it out... I was flooded in yesterday Toga, actually found a way to walk out over the "mountain" but was able to get back home today as the river has subsided so will make the screening... sorry to hear you wont, hope the veggie patch is spared the waters!

well we won Best Byron Film Award. Kinda spewing cos it should have been in contention for Best Documentary Award as well but the judges didnt have time to watch it so it didnt get into that category. What a load of BS.... anyways, hoping the Melbourne International Film Festival selects it and we do well there...

its going on the festival circuit first then TV, then it will finally get to Torrent or Youtube :p ... gotta recoup the cost at some point... Akmal mortgaged his house to produce this...
