do you play quakelive differently to previous quakes?

I've started to get past this shift from 40+acc rail in ICTF to >20acc...
What I've done is first of all remember that I have some skill (as smokin says, "you're strong with a rail so use it!")
Next I try to warmup with it...just rail all the time til the game starts...I do the same with LG (LG is another beast though...this takes some prac! Not sure why it's called a noob gun cause imo it takes skill...maybe I'm just hopeless tho lol)
When in game I do my best to remember what I would do if I were in a ICTF game. Our movement strats and firing strats in ICTF are enough to beat most CA players but I find I change to "CA mode" which is way different. So, when I can I try to pick a spot (e.g. the pillars on campg) and go ICTF mode. It works for me
Sometimes though I have to drop rail altogether because it's too distracting so I just rocket, LG, SG and rail only when I know I can make the shot.
Then other times I try goin all out and I am slowly starting to get the hang of it.
Laslty, I'd just like to say thanks to our sponsors aimbot.com and wallhax.com. They've served the ICTF community well now for so long without the recognition they deserve (lmao). And ICTF rox!
