latest project

BLANK : CUSTOM ROD BUILDER IS601L
3-4 KG SPIN
This rod is only short (6ft) for a spin rod but it is for chasing sooties (black bream) while walking the bank in amongst the trees so the shorter length is ideal
i have done a step by stem on the decorative butt wrap for those that are interested in how the are made
this rod is only a cheapie at less than $50 for all the components but it is still a nice little rod
the guy that owns it brought all the parts from Mud Hole Tackle in the USA and gave them to me to build
enjoy

na i make fa outof it mate
just a hobbie
works out about $6.00/hr
as a matter a fact most rods i build i dont get any money for ............ barter system at work
they guy i am building this for got me so airbrush paint ( i airbrush as well )

looks like a lot of work goes into the binding.
now i just wanna break my $49 jarvis walker rod (reel included in price).
Id like to see some of the air brushing

here is another i wrapped on the weekend
it it a rebuild for a guy
the wrap is a double diamond,there is a diamond pattern on all four axis of the rod
