yeah movement was good and it felt like quake, but i found the maps hazy looking and had no idea what weap i had until i fired it... just need to familiarise myself with it, but all in all i was left feeling meh... I think its really hard for them to reinvent the wheel when the wheel works just fine...

mick gave me a code for this past weekends play on US servers, must admit i am underwhelmed by what i saw so far. Nothing special, a bit confusing with what weaps are being picked up, i probably didnt pay enough attention or look into it to gather my wits, but all in all, it was just another game......

dont remember it being like that in the past, but i didnt play on Oz or NZ servers, only Euro and USA... we should def adjust the settings

i reckon there would be around 50 odd quakelive active players, not much more, some are keen to play ft but finding them on at the same time and encouraging others to play seems to be a thankless job... if freeze gets played its more often than not on the PiT server, snuck in between games of CTF.
