It's fantastic. Bought it the day it came out and I'll not look back. I think I had more issues with XP then I ever did with Vista but this is awesome as.

It was good fun despite others saying it was no good. No taste they have, no taste. And god damn RAGE is looking up something fierce can't wait for that and Brink as well.

Should have replied to this sooner but anyway I don't think 3D Realms was using DNF as a an excercise in publicising the UT engine just because of the amount of content that they so rarely released I also think 3D Realms were just fickle about what they wanted to achieve and expected from technology...
